Deltron 480-C080 Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure is engineered to provide superior protection and durability for various industrial and electrical applications. This enclosure features a robust die cast aluminium body and lid in silver color, designed to shield sensitive electronics against harsh environments.

The enclosure meets IP68, IP67, and IP66 ingress protection ratings as defined by IEC 60529 and certified to BS EN60529 1992 standards. It can endure immersion in water up to a depth of 5 metres for 1 hour, making it suitable for marine, industrial, food preparation, transportation, and leisure applications where resistance to dust and water ingress is critical.

The enclosure's external dimensions are 106.7 mm height, 222.3 mm length, and 146 mm width. It supports PCB internal mounting, featuring PCB mounting guides on selected models. The lid is secured with M3.5 x 12 stainless steel screws, and includes seal location lugs for proper fitment. The hard neoprene rubber seal with self-adhesive backing ensures reliable sealing, with a minimum seal thickness of 3.0 mm and minimum seal frame width of 4.0 mm. The enclosure walls and lid have a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm, providing additional mechanical robustness.

The enclosure is shielded to reduce electromagnetic interference, offering enhanced protection for electronic components. A shielded (EMC) version uses a carbon loaded silicone seal for superior electromagnetic compatibility. The body material is high-quality die cast aluminium sourced from Switzerland.
