Deltron 480-C010 Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure 480 Series features a robust construction with die cast aluminium body and silver lid, designed for demanding industrial and marine environments requiring IP66, IP67, and IP68 protection.
Its external dimensions measure 30.5 mm in height, 88.9 mm in length, and 34.9 mm in width. The enclosure provides the highest grade of ingress protection defined by IEC standard 60529, capable of withstanding immersion in water up to 5 metres depth for 1 hour. This enclosure is certified to BS EN60529: 1992, making it highly reliable for use in food preparation, transportation, leisure, and various industrial applications.
The enclosure includes a hard neoprene rubber seal with a self-adhesive backing, enhancing waterproof and dust-tight performance. The silver lid, matching the body colour, is secured with M3.5 x 12 stainless steel fixing screws and includes seal location lugs to ensure precise fitment and sealing.
Selected models feature PCB mounting guides. The minimum seal thickness is 3.0 mm, with a minimum seal frame width of 4.0 mm, and minimum enclosure wall and lid thickness of 1.5 mm, ensuring durability and protection against harsh external conditions.
