Goodfellow 158-3130 Ceramic Rod Machinable Glass Ceramic White, 100 mm Length is engineered for industrial applications requiring precision machining with ordinary metalworking tools. This ceramic rod features non-wetting and zero porosity characteristics, eliminating deformation during use.
Manufactured from Macor® Machinable Glass Ceramic, this white ceramic rod allows machining tolerances approaching 0.013 mm, achieving polished smoothness suitable for high precision parts. It is ideal for engineering materials, industrial hardware, laboratory, mechanical, and fluid power applications.
The rod withstands continuous operating temperatures up to 800°C and maximum no load temperatures of 1000°C, making it suitable for high-temperature industrial environments. Its compressive strength and fracture toughness ensure robust performance under mechanical stress.
