EAO 31-152.0252 Illuminated Push Button Switch is designed for integration in Series 31 Human Machine Interface (HMI) panel mounting applications. The switch is available with round (18mm diameter), square (18x18mm), and rectangular (18x24mm) bezels. It features snap action switching elements with self-cleaning double-break contacts, providing reliable solder terminal connections. The low level switching element supports electronic circuits from ultra-low power 10μA at 100μV to 100mA at 42 Vac/dc and offers universal terminal compatibility for soldering and PCB mounting.

The illumination is achieved via T1 ¾ midget groove filament lamps or single chip LEDs operating within 6 to 48 V range. External series resistors are required for voltages above 48 V. Installation requires a 16 mm panel cutout with panel thickness compatibility from 1.5 to 6 mm.

Durability features include a long operational life, short rebound time, and stable contact resistance. The actuator and switch housing material are self-extinguishing and meet Class II insulation standards. The device withstands an electric strength of 2500 Vac at 50 Hz for 1 minute between all terminals and earth, complying with IEC 60512-2-11.
