The use of wet processing technology for sand production is an established process across the world as it allows you to increase the efficiency of concrete production by giving you a sand product with greatly reduced volumes of material in the minus 200 mesh range. Screw classifiers are meant for producers looking to remove light, loamy clays; dirt; crusher dust; and other coatings that cannot be removed by wet screening alone.To be successful in obtaining a uniform grind that is necessary to achieve a high percentage of recovery it is necessary to control the degree of fineness that the ore is reduced to. This is done by separating the fine material from the course and regrinding the course until it is fine enough for efficient mineral extraction.It works on the principle that Lighter fractions, such as clay float to the surface due to the water rising in the box and then overflowing the weir located in the back of the box. The resulting clean product is scrubbed and then conveyed by the paddles and flights to the discharge end of the box.
