Hammond 1591DTBU Transparent Blue Polycarbonate Enclosure provides reliable general purpose protection with an IP54 rating, ensuring resistance against ingress of dust and splashing water. Measuring 46 mm in height, 150 mm in length, and 80 mm in width, this enclosure is made with flame retardant polycarbonate material that meets UL94V-0 flammability standard for enhanced safety.
The translucent blue enclosure is almost totally transparent to infrared devices, making it perfect for applications where components, sensors, or indicators need to remain visible. Its two-piece lap joint design enhances dust and water ingress protection with integrated card guides to securely hold 1.5 mm thick printed circuit boards.
The lid is secured by M3x10mm Philips machine screws that thread into brass bushings, allowing easy and repeated lid removal while maintaining structural integrity.
