Product Description
RS PRO 517-3771 is a flanged silver lid die cast aluminium enclosure designed for protecting sensitive electrical and electronic equipment. Constructed from die cast aluminium alloy ADC 12, this enclosure offers superior EMI and RFID shielding capabilities with screening better than 40dB at 10MHz and 76dB at 100 kHz. The natural aluminium finish provides high temperature strength and corrosion resistance, supporting temperatures up to 250°C without adverse effects.
The enclosure measures 201.7 mm in length, 121.2 mm in width, and 55.3 mm in height, including integrated mounting flanges at the bottom to facilitate secure wall installation. The lid is designed with a tapered 1.5° per side for a precise tight fit secured by M3.5 x 9 mm Supadrive countersunk stainless steel screws located outside the inner compartment, ensuring reliable closure and protection.
This shielded die cast enclosure is ideal for housing industrial electronic components, DIN rail mounted equipment, and other sensitive devices.
