- Deionized water is pure, clean water that has been purified by removing atoms, ions, and molecules from tap water using an ion exchange process. Deionization is the process of removing dissolved particles from water such as salt (sodium chloride), minerals, carbon dioxide, organic contaminants, and other impurities. It is a physical process that removes mineral ions by using specially manufactured ion exchange resins. Deionization produces high purity water that is similar to distilled water because the majority of water impurities are dissolved salts.
Product Description
Ultra Pure Deionized Water Treatment Plant Deionization systems work by substituting hydrogen (positive) and hydroxyl (negative) molecules for negative and positive molecules in water. Organic substances are effectively removed through filtration, which improves water quality and prevents the formation of scale deposits. A deionizer system consists of several vessels filled with proper resins; the water simply flows through the resins.
