Product Description

Spelsberg IP66 TK PS Series Grey Transparent Lid Polystyrene Enclosure is constructed with a grey (RAL 7035) polystyrene base and transparent polycarbonate lid, measuring externally 165 mm in height, 254 mm in length, and 180 mm in width. It features an IP66 ingress protection rating according to EN 60529 / DIN VDE 0470-1, ensuring strong resistance against dust and powerful water jets, and IK07 impact resistance compliant with DIN EN 5012 / VDE 0470 Part 100 for mechanical robustness.

This enclosure is designed specifically for indoor use and is not weatherproof. It incorporates an integrated polyurethane cover gasket and polyamide 6 fibre glass reinforced cover screws for secure sealing and durability. The enclosure is halogen-free and silicone-free, containing no heavy metals or PVC, providing a safer environment for housing sensitive electrical installations. Its rated insulation voltage is 690 V AC and 1000 V DC, supporting various electrical safety standards including RoHS compliance, VDE 0471, and UL94 flammability ratings.

The enclosure has no pre-embossed metric knockouts, allowing users to customize cable entry points as needed. It is suitable for mounting on walls using through holes beneath lid fixing screws or surface mounting with provided sealing plugs.
