EAO 31-463.036 illuminated push button switch from the 31 series features a button actuator type designed for reliable human machine interface (HMI) control panels in industrial environments. This Swiss-manufactured switch complies with RoHS and IEC safety standards, making it suitable for diverse industrial, manufacturing, and process control applications.

The switch requires a 16mm panel cutout and accommodates panel thicknesses between 1.5 mm and 6 mm. It offers configurations with snap action or low level switching elements supporting momentary or maintained switching actions to suit specific circuit needs. Snap action elements provide self-cleaning double-break contacts with solder terminals, while low level elements enable switching of low power electronic loads from 10μA at 100μV up to 100mA at 42Vac/dc, terminating via universal terminals compatible with soldering or PCB mounting.

Illumination options include T1 3/4 midget groove filament lamps or single chip LEDs rated from 6 V to 48 V, with external resistors required for voltages exceeding 48 V. The switch housing and actuator are made of self-extinguishing materials, ensuring Class II compliance and an electric strength rating of 2500 Vac at 50 Hz for one minute between all terminals and earth, adhering to IEC 60512-2-11 standards.
