The Sensirion SCD42-D-R2 Carbon Dioxide Gas Sensor for CO Detectors is a miniature, high-performance sensor designed for precise CO2 detection in various applications including environmental monitoring, HVAC systems, and indoor air quality control.

This sensor employs an advanced photoacoustic sensing principle combined with Sensirion’s patented PAsens® and CMOSens® technology to deliver a compact package measuring only 10.1 x 10.1 x 6.5 mm. The sensor module integrates an SHT4x humidity and temperature sensor on-chip for signal compensation, ensuring accurate CO2 concentration measurements.
