RawlPlug SM-04020 is a carbon steel expanding bolt cavity fixing designed for permanent and secure anchor fixing in cavity walls. It features an 8 mm fixing hole diameter and a length of 20 mm, suitable for maximum fixing thicknesses of 10 mm and minimum thicknesses of 4 mm. The fixing is zinc plated to resist corrosion and enhance durability in various installation environments.

The SM Interset™ cavity wall plug fixings include hinged fixing legs that maximize load bearing capacity, along with an integral thread and flange for extra stability. The design also incorporates anti-rotation lugs to ensure the plug remains firmly in place during use. These fixings come with a combination head screw featuring Pozidriv and slot drive types, making installation efficient and reliable.

RawlPlug SM-04020 fixings are compatible with all board building materials from 2 mm up to 38 mm thickness, including plasterboard, gypsum fibreboards, chipboard, and oriented strand boards. They are suitable for use with the RawlPlug AT Fixing Tool (stock number 0528362) or standard pliers for manual installation.
