RawlPlug SM-06037 Expanding Bolt Cavity Fixing is a professional-grade cavity wall fixing manufactured from zinc plated carbon steel. It is engineered to provide a permanent anchor fixing solution ideal for cavity walls and a wide range of board building materials including plasterboard, gypsum fibreboard, chipboard, and oriented strand board.
The product features hinged fixing legs which maximize load bearing, an integral thread with flange for extra stability, and anti-rotation lugs ensuring a secure and reliable fixing. The fixing hole diameter is 12 mm with a length of 37 mm and supports fixing thicknesses from 9.5 mm minimum up to 18 mm maximum, suitable for varying wall panel thicknesses between 2 mm and 38 mm.
Installation is straightforward with compatibility for slot and Pozidriv drive types, and an M6 thread size. The fixings include a combination head screw and can be installed using the RawlPlug AT Fixing Tool or pliers.
