SICK WL9G-3N1132P06 Retroreflective Photoelectric Sensor Block Style is engineered for precise detection of small objects and features in demanding industrial automation environments. It features a durable VISTAL® plastic housing providing strong mechanical resistance and protection ratings of IP66, IP67, and IP69K, ensuring reliable operation in harsh conditions.
The sensor operates using an LED light source combined with SICK's proprietary SIRIC® technology, effectively suppressing optical and electromagnetic interference for consistent performance. It supports NPN output with a detection range of 5 meters and very fast response time of 500 microseconds, making it suitable for fast-paced manufacturing processes.
This photoelectric sensor is designed for applications such as transport of transparent objects, paper stack height measurement, paper edge detection, and in-die sensing among others. Its stable housing reduces machine downtime while the sensor’s no blind spot detection capability allows it to work effectively even with shiny or transparent objects.
