Product Description

Acc Silicones SILCOSET 158 is a high temperature black silicone sealant paste designed for bonding and sealing tasks in demanding industrial and mechanical environments.

This one-part, ready-to-use RTV silicone adhesive cures upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, producing a flexible, robust seal that withstands temperature extremes from -60°C to 300°C. Its excellent electrical insulation properties and resistance to moisture, weathering, ozone, and many chemicals make it suitable for applications in aerospace, defense, and domestic appliance repair.

The product meets specifications set by Rolls Royce Aerospace (MSRR 9146) and the Ministry of Defence (AFS 1540B), ensuring it meets rigorous performance standards. Its high thermal stability allows for use in environments exposed to high heat, such as cooker repairs and other industrial settings.

The paste form and 75 ml tube packaging allow precise application, with a cure time of approximately 7 hours at 25 °C. The sealant’s specific gravity is 1.07, ensuring consistency during use.
