RS PRO 103-4074 Adhesive Backing Polyimide Acoustic Insulation provides versatile acoustic insulation material manufactured from polyimide-6. Available in rolls measuring 1 m long by 950 mm wide and 3 mm thick, it features a self-adhesive backing that enables easy installation without additional adhesives. This insulation material maintains integrity across a wide temperature range, functioning effectively between -10°C and 205°C, suitable for harsh industrial environments.

The closed-cell, cross-linked polyimide foam offers excellent sealing properties, repelling air, dust, and water, making it ideal for use in machine guards and high-temperature seals. Its density is optimized at 52 kg/m³ with a cell size of 0.25 mm, contributing to effective soundproofing, thermal insulation, and mechanical durability.
