RS PRO 680-678 White Polytetrafluoroethylene Plastic Sheet is a high-performance solid plastic sheet designed for demanding industrial use. Crafted from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known as Teflon, this sheet offers exceptional chemical resistance, excellent sliding properties, and high thermal stability up to 260°C. The white sheet is laminated with fine weave cotton, fibreglass, acrylic, and epoxy resin, enhancing its durability and mechanical properties.

PTFE’s unique low coefficient of friction reduces wear and heat generation in moving components, making it perfect for sliding applications and bearing components. Its non-stick surface ensures materials do not adhere, which is beneficial in food processing and medical fields where cleanliness is critical. The sheet is flame retardant with a UL 94 V-0 rating and exhibits excellent electrical insulation and UV resistance, broadening its application range.

Water absorption is minimized to 0.3%, which maintains the material’s physical properties even in moist environments. With tensile strength of 25 MPa and thermal conductivity of 0.17 W/mK, this sheet withstands mechanical stresses and thermal loads effectively. The adhesive backing facilitates easy assembly and installation in manufacturing or maintenance workflows.
