The enclosure body and hinged lid are constructed from high-quality ABS material that meets UL 94 V0 standards for flame resistance and self-extinguishing properties. The foamed polyurethane gasket ensures a secure seal, enhancing corrosion resistance and suitable for outdoor use.
Designed to simplify installation and maintenance, the enclosure features a patented quick-release hinge allowing opening without screws and closing by hand. It has a recessed membrane keypad area for mounting keypads or front panels, delivering a clean and functional interface.
The enclosure offers a large mounting area to accommodate connectors, cable glands, and other operating elements. Its graphite grey color body is matched with a grey lid for a professional industrial appearance. Wall brackets compatible with this enclosure are available separately (graphite grey RS stock no 773-9673 and light grey RS stock no 773-9682).
This product complies with RoHS standards and is unshielded against RFI. It is not certified for hazardous area applications. The enclosure withstands up to 1.2 meters water immersion for 2 hours (IP68) and meets IP66 standards for dust protection according to DIN EN 60529.
