Manufactured from high-quality die cast aluminium ADC12 alloy (LM24 to BS1490), this enclosure combines excellent mechanical strength with natural aluminium finish without external coating, enabling powder coating if desired. The enclosure tolerates elevated temperatures of up to 250°C without compromise to material integrity or performance.
The enclosure is shielded effectively against EMI/RFI interference with a superior screening capability exceeding 40dB at 10MHz and 76dB at 100 kHz. The lipped silver lid ensures a secure, tight fit to the body with a 1.5° taper on each side, while fastening is reinforced with M3.5 x 9 mm Supadrive countersunk stainless steel screws. The flanged bottom design facilitates easy and secure wall mounting in diverse setups.
