RS PRO 507-999 fibreglass enclosure is a robust two-part modular Electrical Enclosure designed for industrial and general purpose electrical protection. Constructed from grey hot moulded fibre glass reinforced polyester, it offers excellent insulation, mechanical strength, and durability with an IP67 ingress protection rating and IK10 impact resistance standard.
The enclosure's removable chassis plates and M4 threaded inserts allow secure mounting of internal components like mounting plates or frames. Its fibre glass material is self-extinguishing, resistant to ozone, oils, acids, bases, salts, and UV radiation, making it maintenance free and corrosion resistant in harsh environments.
Designed to withstand temperatures from -50°C short term to +150°C with the cover and continuous operation from -40°C to 70°C, this enclosure is suitable for demanding industrial applications where robust protection is essential.
The hull features a grey coloured lid, light grey body (RAL 7035), and a PUR gasket ensuring a tight seal against dust and water ingress. It has good chemical resistance and complies with RoHS directives.
