Littelfuse LVR040K resettable fuse is a polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) device designed for overcurrent and overtemperature protection in a variety of electrical and electronic applications. This device automatically switches from a low resistance state to a high resistance state during fault conditions and resets automatically once the fault is cleared.
With a current rating of 5.5A and a hold current of 0.4A, it is suitable for line-voltage applications at 240V dc. Its radial lead orientation and compact dimensions (11.5mm length, 20.9mm height, 3.8mm width) facilitate easy PCB mounting and integration into existing systems.
