Igus CF78.UL.05.12 (50m) is a high-performance screened control cable with 12 cores, each 0.5mm² (20 AWG) stranded copper conductor, sheathed in durable grey thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It supports voltages of 300V and 500V, designed for demanding industrial environments requiring flame retardant and halogen-free cables.
The cable is engineered for dynamic applications featuring a patented core bundle design that allows tight bend radii, making it ideal for e-chain (cable carrier) systems, flexible movement, and fixed installations. Its TPE jacket provides excellent abrasion resistance and is oil resistant to nearly unlimited levels (Class 4), suitable for chemical and bio-oil exposure.
Operating temperature ranges from -50°C to +80°C make this cable suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The medium UV resistance extends its durability under sunlight exposure. The cable’s low-angled braided screen minimizes electromagnetic interference and cross talk, ensuring reliable signal integrity in control systems.
Certified to CE and EN standards, the cable also complies with flame retardant classifications IEC 60332-1-2, CEI 20-35, FT1, VW1, and is halogen free per DIN EN 60754.
