Product Details

LTDR uses TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) technology.Low-energy, high-frequency electromagnetic impulses,generated by the sensors circuitry, are propagated along theprobe which is immerged in the liquid to be measured.When these impulses hit the surface of the liquid, part of theimpulse energy is reflected back up the probe to the circuitrywhich then calculates the fluid level from the time differencebetween the impulses sent and the impulses reflected.The sensor can output the analyzed level as a continuousmeasurement reading through its analog output, or it canconvert the values into freely position able switching outputsignals.
