Product Description
TE Connectivity B-155-11 transparent polyolefin solder sleeve is a high-quality solution for creating reliable electrical connections in signal cables and cable screens. This one-piece soldering system includes a heat shrinkable sleeve with a predetermined amount of fluxed solder and thermoplastic sealing inserts at each end. The sleeve measures 35.5 mm in length and accommodates cables with diameters ranging from 4 mm to 11.5 mm.
During installation, the sleeve is placed over the cable joint and heated using a heat gun. The sleeve shrinks to fit tightly around the cable, the sealing inserts melt and flow, and the solder melts to form a secure, conductive joint. Heating is continued until the solder fully melts and flows, ensuring a durable and watertight connection.
