Product Description
STMicroelectronics EVALKITSTKNX Miniature Transceiver Evaluation & Development Kit features a 20-pin surface mount design operating at 16 MHz, providing a complete KNX twisted-pair device development environment based on the STKNX miniature transceiver. It is controlled by the powerful STM32F103 microcontroller, a 32-bit Cortex-M3 running at 16 MHz with 128 kB of flash program memory, ideal for building automation applications.
The kit supports the TAPKO KNX protocol stack KAIstack and is compatible with the ETS engineering tool software, enabling seamless integration with existing KNX systems. Developers can utilize supported IDEs such as AC6 OpenSTM32 and Atollic TrueSTUDIO on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS environments.
Debugging and programming are facilitated through onboard ST-LINK/V2-1 JTAG debug via an isolated USB host interface, as well as standard SWD and JTAG interfaces exposed on a 20-pin HE10 connector. Additionally, the module features connectors compatible with Arduino and ST Morpho standards to allow connection of extension boards.
Power supply flexibility is provided through USB power in desktop mode, requiring no external supply for software development with the KNX disconnected. The kit includes multiple buttons and LEDs to emulate KNX sensor and actuator functionalities.
