MK Electric 13A 4 Gang Switched Fused Spur, Surface Mount, Metalclad Plus, Heavy Gauge Steel, 440V, K3086 WHI

The MK Electric K3086 WHI 13A 4 Gang Switched Fused Spur is engineered for demanding electrical applications requiring secure circuit protection and robust surface mounting. Part of the Metalclad Plus series, it is intended for use in environments such as factories, workshops, plant rooms, warehouses, schools, hospitals, and even residential garages and sheds.

This unit supports up to four gangs and delivers a 13A current rating at up to 440V, making it suitable for high-capacity distribution and circuit protection tasks. Its heavy gauge steel construction and metallic powder paint finish ensure both durability and resistance to corrosion and scratches, even under challenging conditions.

Designed with ease of installation and operation in mind, it incorporates double pole switching for added safety, backed-out terminal screws for straightforward wiring, and clear terminal markings to minimize installation errors. The product features a padlockable fuse carrier, enabling safe maintenance isolation, as well as a three-pin operated safety shutter across all sockets for enhanced protection.

This fused spur is ideal for applications requiring reliable circuit separation and overload protection, particularly where space and accessibility are important factors. Its surface mounting capability allows it to be installed on walls or machinery in industrial, laboratory, and commercial environments. The requirement for only a 16mm minimum box depth also broadens installation flexibility.

Meeting BS 5733 standards, the K3086 WHI provides peace of mind for compliance and safety. With neutral contacts engineered to make first and break last, and a minimum 3mm contact gap, additional operational safety is ensured for users and maintenance personnel. The unit is also equipped with an earth terminal, further enhancing safety for sensitive loads and workspaces.

The MK Electric K3086 WHI 13A 4 Gang Switched Fused Spur is particularly suited for powering equipment and systems in areas with high physical demands, providing both continuous performance and user protection.
