Exhaust gases (oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc.) are released into the atmosphere. Once the CMS bed is saturated, the process switches nitrogen regeneration to another bed while the saturated bed undergoes regeneration by depressurization to atmospheric pressure. This ensures a continuous supply of nitrogen to the system.
