The HI5148B Silver Billet Titration Electrode is engineered for the precise potentiometric titration of halides, including chloride, bromide, and iodide, through excess silver detection in precipitation reactions. Featuring a unique silver billet tip, this combination electrode generates a millivolt (mV) potential for accurate endpoint determination during silver nitrate titrations.

• Specially equipped with a Clogging Prevention System (CPS™), the electrode integrates a ground glass junction and a movable polyethylene sleeve that can be adjusted to clean the surface, preventing buildup and clogging—especially important for samples with high solids content such as those encountered in food, wastewater, concrete, and brine analysis.
• The double junction Ag/AgCl reference system is refillable, allowing users to select 3.5M KCl or alternative fill solutions based on analytical requirements.
• The robust glass body (12 mm outer diameter, 1 m coaxial cable) is chemically resistant and equipped with a standard BNC connector for universal compatibility with most laboratory titrators and meters.
• Capable of operating in pressure conditions up to 0.1 bar and temperatures ranging from 0 to 70°C (32 to 158°F).
• Cylindrical tip design (3 mm diameter) optimizes sensitivity and response during titrations.
