The HI7638 In-line Conductivity Probe with NTC Sensor is a specialized industrial sensor engineered for immersion installation in tanks or pipelines. This probe employs four platinum rings as electrodes, using potentiometric (four-ring) technology, which ensures consistently accurate conductivity measurements even in environments with fluctuating sample conductivity. The built-in NTC temperature sensor further enhances accuracy by providing automatic temperature compensation in real time.
Constructed with a PEI (polyetherimide) body, this probe provides excellent resistance to chemicals and mechanical stress, making it suitable for continuous industrial processes as well as laboratory analysis. Its four-ring platinum cell configuration dramatically reduces polarization and extends the range for reliable measurement, unlike conventional two-ring (amperometric) designs.
