This module is developed in accordance with Standard Methods and regulatory guidelines, allowing users to efficiently perform and calculate key parameters such as Oxygen Uptake Rate (OUR), Specific Oxygen Uptake Rate (SOUR), and Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD). It supports batch analysis of municipal and industrial wastewater samples, simplifying complex procedures through automated and user-friendly operation.
Equipped with advanced compensation features, the HI6000-4 offers both automatic and manual adjustments for barometric pressure, salinity, and temperature, ensuring highly accurate and repeatable results under varying environmental conditions. The integrated barometer provides pressure compensation within a range of 450.0–850.0 mmHg with ±3 mmHg accuracy, while temperature compensation spans from −20.0 to 120.0°C with fine resolution.
The module measures dissolved oxygen in multiple units including % saturation, mg/L, and ppm, offering flexibility for diverse analytical requirements. It also supports automatic or manual calibration at 0.00% and 100.0% saturation or user-defined calibration points, ensuring adaptability across different testing scenarios.
