Reading Telescope - Advanced

This Advanced Reading Telescope is an efficient instrument to measure the minute changes in position of an object. The high quality optics is used so that sharp images are observed. Consists of a telescope mounted on a carriage, which is in-turn clamped to a vertical pillar. The telescope has an achromatic objective at one end and can be focused using the rack & pinion arrangement allowing focus from zero to infinity. The carriage has a special arrangement which allows the telescope tube to be moved laterally & vertically. The vertical pillar 45cm long and 25mm dia, is sturdy and can withstand minor external disturbances. The carriage moves up and down along the pillar and can be fixed at any position using a locking mechanism, provided with perspex scale which is fitted on the holder
