Product Description
Double Stage Distillation Unit DDU1500 provide automatic operation to produce pure water through the distillation method, capable of removing a wide spectrum of impurities. Raw water is boiled to produce steam, which is then directed to a condenser where it returns to a liquid state, free of impurities. The impurities remain in the boiler and can be periodically removed using the built-in descaling or cleaning guide.
Applications:
General laboratory applications requiring higher ionic purity, such as sample and buffer preparations. It is suitable for use where inlet water TDS is < 100 ppm.
Note:
Because of difficulties associated with measuring the pH value of high-purity water and the doubtful significance of values obtained, limits for the pH value of grade 1 and grade 2 water have not been specified. The conductivity specified applies to freshly prepared water in the absence of carbon dioxide at 20°C.
