The Quartz Double Distillation Unit, also known as the On Demand Double Distillation Unit (DDU), is a high-performance system designed to deliver ultra-pure distilled water through a two-stage distillation process. Constructed from high-quality quartz, this unit operates automatically to efficiently remove a wide range of impurities. In the first stage, raw water is boiled to produce steam, which is then directed into a condenser where it condenses back into a liquid state, free of contaminants. The remaining impurities are retained in the boiler and can be periodically removed using the built-in descaling or cleaning guide. The distilled water can be used for preparing analytical standards, reagents, buffers, culture media, and samples for sensitive instrumental analysis. It is also suitable for pharmaceutical quality control, microbiological procedures, trace-level testing, and final rinsing of laboratory glassware. Note: Because of difficulties associated with measurement of the pH value of high purity water and the doubtful significance values obtained, limits for the pH value of grade 1 & grade 2 water have not been specified.
