Gai-Tronics 212-02-5028-401 Auteldac 5 Corded Black Telephone is an ATEX and IECEx approved wall-mounted handset designed for hazardous area communication with high durability and safety features. It uses a carbon loaded glass-filled polyester enclosure to resist rust, corrosion, and harsh environmental conditions while providing protection rated to IP66.

This telephone is certified for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 gas hazardous areas as well as Zone 21 and 22 dust hazardous locations. Its electronic on-hook sensing and tone ringer support reliable operation even in demanding industrial environments. The unit automatically reverts the handset to on-hook after 7 minutes if left off-hook, enhancing safety and functionality.

The Auteldac 5 includes three programmable speed dial buttons and offers an optional removable headset for user convenience. The integral ringer features adjustable volume with a secondary beacon and external sounder actuator to ensure call awareness in noisy environments. An inductive coupler is also fitted to provide assisted hearing functionality.
