ABB Grey Thermoplastic Junction Box IP55, 100 mm x 100 mm x 80 mm, Heat-Resistant, Model IP55

ABB IP55 Junction Box, model IP55, is a grey thermoplastic enclosure measuring 100 mm in length, 100 mm in width, and 80 mm in height. It is designed to protect electrical wiring connections while providing easy access via a screw-on lid secured with four steel screws. The thermoplastic material used is self-extinguishing and heat resistant up to +650°C, making it suitable for challenging environments.

The junction box provides a robust IP55 protection rating that guards against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Its UV resistance and chemical resistance ensure durability in harsh industrial settings.

With an IK08 impact rating, the box can withstand mechanical impacts equivalent to a 1.7 kg object dropped from a height of 300 mm, ensuring protection against physical damage. This product adheres to multiple certifications and standards including IEC 60670-1, UL 94 HB, RoHS, IEC 60670-22, IMQ mark, UL 94 V2, CEI EN 50262, and IEC 60695-2-11, ensuring high quality and reliability.

The unobtrusive grey color allows it to blend seamlessly into commercial construction sites, factories, engineering workshops, and office environments. Cable glands with a 60 mm diameter accommodate cable entries securely.

Constructed from heat-resistant thermoplastic material capable of withstanding up to +650°C. Provides IP55 protection against dust and low-pressure water jets. Compact dimensions ensure suitability for space-constrained installations.

Equipped with a screw-on lid secured by four steel screws for easy access and maintenance. Resistant to UV exposure and chemicals, suitable for outdoor and industrial use. Tested with IK08 rating for impact resistance against a 1.7 kg object dropped from 300 mm height.

Complies with IEC 60670-1, UL 94 HB, RoHS, and other relevant standards. Color coded in unobtrusive grey for blending in installation environments. Ideal for commercial construction, factories, engineering workshops, and office electrical installations.

This Junction Box is an excellent choice for industrial, commercial, and electrical applications requiring reliable enclosure protection. Compatible with various cable glands and suitable for maintaining safe and durable wiring connections.
