Igus 910-7034 RS PRO 1.75 mm Black Carbon-P 3D Printer Filament is a high-performance composite filament specifically formulated for Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) 3D printers. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a net weight of 500 grams, this filament is ideal for producing mechanically demanding parts such as RC components that require superior stiffness combined with lightweight properties.

Carbon-P filament consists of a PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) base reinforced with 20% carbon fiber, delivering enhanced tensile strength and rigidity comparable to aluminum at half the weight. Its unique formulation offers increased impact resistance and excellent heat deflection temperature (HDT) of up to 80 °C, making it suitable for applications exposed to moderate thermal stress.

The matte black filament also provides water resistance and minimal warping, facilitating easier printability without the mandatory need for a heated bed. However, if a heated bed is utilized, optimal bed temperatures should be maintained between 35 - 60 °C to ensure proper adhesion and surface finish.

Due to the abrasive carbon fiber content, printing with Carbon-P filament requires a hardened steel nozzle to prevent premature wear common to brass nozzles. This filament is compatible with all common desktop FDM or FFF 3D printers using 1.75 mm filament.

Storage recommendations include keeping the filament in a cool, dry place at temperatures between 15 - 25 °C away from UV light to preserve filament quality and longevity. Composite PETG filament reinforced with carbon fiber for strength and stiffness.
