Constructed from high-quality aluminium (GD Al Si 12) with powder-coated hinges and cover (Al Mg Si 0.5), it features a foam polyurethane gasket to provide an IP66, IP68 (immersion 1.2 m for 2 hours), and IP69 ingress protection rating, as well as IK07 and IK08 impact protection. This enclosure series meets RoHS compliance and is listed under UL file no. 196 706, attesting to its safety and reliability.
The enclosure design includes a patented integrated hinge with quick-release catch technology, enabling tool-free lid opening and closing, suitable for rapid assembly and maintenance. The captive lid either has a smooth surface or optional membrane keypad area, along with a recessed front surface for mounting sensitive interfaces and scored PCBs. The enclosure has no knockouts and is shielded for enhanced electronic protection.
