Product Description
RS PRO 754-5547 enclosure heater is engineered to provide low wattage anti-condensation heating for electrical switchgear and control gear cabinets. Operating at 230V AC with 400W output power, this heater maintains cabinet temperature above the dew point, protecting sensitive electronic components from moisture damage.
The heater features a vitreous enamelled resistor housed within a robust sheet steel casing. A perforated sheet steel cover surrounds the resistor, offering protection and allowing efficient heat dissipation. Designed for screw mounting on the back surface of enclosures, the heating element is positioned horizontally with terminals at the bottom for optimal performance and safety.
Connection is facilitated through screw terminals with M4 terminal screws, and cable entry is sealed with grommets on both ends to prevent ingress. The heater’s IP20 rating makes it suitable for indoor electrical enclosure applications where protection against solid objects above 12mm is required.
