This series includes an integral battery compartment version that accommodates two AA batteries and one 9 V (PP3) battery, which is secured by 4 battery clips and a dedicated 9 V clip inside the compartment. The enclosure is protected by an IP54 rating, making it dust protected and resistant to water spray from any direction, suitable for various industrial and commercial environments.

Internal PCB mounting bosses provide convenient and secure mounting for printed circuit boards, and the recessed top cover allows installation of a membrane keypad or labeling for user interface functions.
