The contacts are made out of highly conductive electrolytic copper & brass, and the contacts and terminals are silver coated for superior conductivity. Provision for door interlocking which ensures that the door cannot be opened when the switch is in the ON position, therefore providing safety to humans. Flame retardant body to prevent chances of accidents due to overloading conditions. The contacts are look-alike Knives, that's why they are known to offload knife-type changeovers.
