Product Description
Advance Tapes AT541 conductive metallic tape combines a 40μ aluminium foil backing coated with a conductive acrylic adhesive, laminated to a self-adhesive removable polyester masking tape. This dual-layer structure allows the tape to be applied before coating processes, where the masking layer can be removed to expose a clean and electrically conductive aluminium surface.
With a width of 19mm and length of 33 meters, it offers robust performance in masking and conductive applications such as electrostatic discharge (ESD) shielding, electrical bonding, and surface protection in industrial manufacturing.
The tape is designed to operate in temperatures from -20°C up to a maximum of 155°C, suitable for oven curing and high-temperature environments. Polyester masking tape withstands oven temperatures up to 200°C and can be removed readily without leaving residue.
Adhesion strength of 4.5N/cm and tensile strength of 25N/cm provide durability and reliable bonding on aluminium surfaces. It meets ASTM D-1000 and BS EN 60454 Part 2 test methods, and also meets military specification MIL-T-47012 for conductive tapes.
The aluminium foil backing offers flame retardant properties conforming to the UL510 flame retardant requirement. This tape is ideal for industrial, manufacturing, electronics assembly, laboratory, and HVAC use where conductive masking is required.
