CamdenBoss RTM5001/11-BLK model is part of the 5000 Series black die cast aluminium enclosures, measuring 31 mm in height, 50 mm in length, and 50 mm in width with a robust IP54 ingress protection rating. This enclsoure is engineered for industrial, electrical, and automation applications demanding reliable protection and EMI/RFI shielding for sensitive electronics.
Manufactured from die cast aluminium with a tri-mite paint finish, it combines high mechanical strength with resistance to corrosion and shock. The enclosure’s black lid, secured by close-fitting M3 screws into tapped holes, ensures complete shielding from electromagnetic interference.
It can withstand temperatures up to 260° C without the gasket and includes internal slots for quick and secure mounting of printed circuit boards (PCBs). The unit’s wall thickness is 1.8 mm with the lid adding an additional 4 mm thickness to the overall height.
Optional IP65 rated gaskets (sold separately) are available to further enhance environmental protection, making it suitable for harsher industrial environments. The enclosure's design allows for easy drilling and machining to fit custom installations.
