Product Description

Loctite 234853 Thread Lock Adhesive, also known as Loctite 2701, is a professional grade green thread locking liquid designed for permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. This 50 ml bottle product cures in 6 hours and is formulated for high strength performance in industrial environments.

Composed of dimethacrylate ester, the adhesive cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, preventing loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. Its low viscosity ensures excellent penetration into threads, making it particularly suitable for inactive substrates and applications requiring maximum resistance to hot oil.

The operating temperature range is broad, from -55°C to 150°C, making it reliable in diverse mechanical, HVAC, manufacturing, and fluid power tool applications. Fixture times vary by material: 10 minutes for steel, 4 minutes for brass, and 25 minutes for stainless steel.
