RS PRO 287-7379 ESD Grounding Wrist Strap & Cord Set is designed to provide effective electrostatic discharge safety essential for electronics manufacturing, laboratory, and clean room environments. The wrist strap features a premium-grade fabric band featuring an elastic ratio between 1:2.5 and 1:3, allowing comfortable and secure fitting for any wrist size with its easy adjustable clip. The inside of the strap is conductively lined with five rows of double-ply silver yarn to ensure reliable grounding.

The wristband is tested separately for interior and exterior resistance, with interior resistance measured at less than or equal to 100 kilo-ohms on a 7 to 30 volts DC open circuit, while exterior resistance is at least 10 megaohms, ensuring compliance with stringent ESD control standards.

Included is a 1.8-meter coiled cord that provides ample length and flexibility for movement during work. This cord has a conductor diameter of 2.5 mm with seven tinsel wires and is insulated with polyurethane material, delivering durability and low end-to-end resistance of no more than 1 ohm. The cord terminates with a banana plug and crocodile clip, allowing easy grounding connection to a safe point.
