Its all-metal construction uses cantilevered threaded arms that are deflected downwards and inwards to maintain a secure locking position even without being fully tightened.

The locknut can be used safely in environments with temperatures up to 300°C, making it suitable for various industrial, mechanical, automotive, and manufacturing use cases requiring reliable fastening solutions.

It is reusable, allowing for removal and reinstallation without compromising locking performance. To ensure effective locking, two complete threads of the engaged screw must protrude beyond the locknut. Use on damaged or interrupted threads is not recommended as it may adversely affect locking function.
