Peak Instruments Portable Colorimeter Model PC-4000H With 4.3 Inch LCD Display, A portable colorimeter is a handheld device used to measure the color of a liquid sample. It is a compact, battery-operated instrument that can be easily transported and used in the field or on-site. Portable colorimeters work in a similar way to benchtop colorimeters, by shining a beam of light through the liquid sample and measuring the amount of light that is absorbed by the sample. The colorimeter then displays the concentration of the substance being measured on a digital screen, allowing the user to quickly and easily assess the quality of the sample
