Eaton Contactor Mounting Enclosure for use with DIL2AM Series and DIL2M Series CI43E

Eaton CI43E Contactor Mounting Enclosure is engineered to enable the safe and modular mounting of DIL2AM and DIL2M series contactors, auxiliaries, and overload relays. This enclosure utilizes a two-part modular system: a high impact resistant polycarbonate base offering excellent mechanical strength and electrical insulation, and a pre-drilled galvanized steel mounting plate for secure fastening of components.

Its design provides an IP65 ingress protection rating, ensuring resistance against dust ingress and water jets, suitable for demanding industrial and commercial environments. The enclosure is equipped with patented sealable cover fasteners integrating overpressure compensation, which safeguards internal electrical components from short circuits caused by pressure differences.

The enclosure features multiple metric cable entry knockouts (PG16) on all side walls as well as the top and bottom, allowing flexible wiring arrangements. The removable cover is made from smoky transparent material providing clear visibility of the mounted components while maintaining protection.

Included is a fixing strap that facilitates easy wall mounting. The galvanized steel mounting plate is 3 mm thick and pre-drilled to accommodate metric threaded screws supplied for straightforward installation of Eaton DIL*M contactors, auxiliary contacts, and overload relays.

The enclosure's modularity allows conversion into a distribution board enclosure by removing the full-area knockouts on the side walls. Optionally, a knockout cover can be fitted with a cylinder lock to enhance security.

Engineered for reliability, the enclosure withstands ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C, making it suitable for industrial, automation, manufacturing, and electrical control applications.
