Product Description
Hammond 1550WDBK is a general purpose, rugged die cast aluminium enclosure offering superior protection with IP66 ingress rating and IK08 impact resistance. This enclosure measures 25.9 mm height, 114.6 mm length, and 64 mm width, ideal for electronic instrument and electrical automation projects.
The enclosure is manufactured from durable aluminium alloy which ensures both toughness and machinability. It comes in either a natural vibrant finish that is smooth and free of sharp edges or a textured black satin polyester powder coat for a premium lasting finish. Black screws accompany the painted option to complement the overall appearance.
The lap joint design protects against dust ingress and splashing water, enabling reliable EMI/RFI shielding when not using watertight gaskets. The sealing gasket is composed of EVA foam and silicone, offering watertight performance to IP66 standards. The enclosure is secured by M3.5 x 0.6 x 12 mm stainless steel Phillips head machine screws pre-tapped at the factory.
