SICK MZT8-2V6PSAKR0 pneumatic sensor is specially designed for use in pneumatic actuators featuring T-slot construction. It operates at a voltage of 30V DC and incorporates an LED indicator for visual feedback during operation. The sensor employs patented GMR technology along with the SICK ASIC for precise switching, minimizing multiple switching operations and enhancing machine performance.

This sensor mounts quickly and easily by inserting it into the T-slot from above and securing it with a combined hexagon socket and slotted screw, saving installation time and eliminating the need to remove cylinder end caps.

The MZT8 sensor comes with various enclosure ratings, including IP 67, IP 68, and IP 69K, providing excellent resistance to dust and water ingress, making it suitable for applications in demanding industrial environments. It offers temperature resistance up to 100 °C in high-temperature variants, suitable for use in factory automation, machine building, metalworking, and handling and assembly technology.

Its compact 2.9 mm diameter housing allows use in short stroke cylinders, while its rugged design resists shock and vibration to maintain stable positioning in the slot, contributing to low maintenance costs and extended sensor life.
