Product Description
Igus CF78.UL.05.04 (50m) control cable is a high-performance industrial cable designed with a 4-core configuration of 0.5mm² (20 AWG) stranded copper conductors. It features a screened construction with a grey thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) sheath that provides excellent abrasion resistance and durability under harsh chemical and oil environments.
This cable is armoured for added mechanical protection and rated for operating voltages of 300 to 500 volts. It supports a wide temperature range from -50°C minimum to +80°C maximum, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications where temperature extremes are encountered.
The patented bundled core design enables a small bend radius, ideal for installation in e-chain systems and flexible use cases requiring long travel lengths up to 400m. Its oil-resistant Class 4 jacket ensures near unlimited resistance to oil and bio-oils, compliant with DIN EN 50363-4-1.
Igus CF78.UL cables are flame retardant according to IEC 60332-1-2, CEI 20-35, FT1, VW1 standards and halogen-free following DIN EN 60754. They are also silicone-free as per PV 3.10.7, UL/CSA styles 11323 and 21223, and conform to NFPA 79-2018 for industrial safety.
